The Abbey Hotel Donegal in Donegal Town is a spotless old-fashioned hotel with very helpful staff. It has an amazing and lovely location close to the town center, surrounded by plenty of bars, restaurants, and the bay in a very nice area. Plus, it's an easy walk to Forget Me Not Craft Store.

I was offered a room with lovely views of the town. Particularly good and absolutely perfect location, it was very close to major attractions and shopping and buses and taxis. Had supper enjoying drinks at nearby The Harbour Restaurant & Bar.

This place gives off some lovely old-school vibes, and we were totally digging it. the room was great - had all we needed, like solid Wi-Fi, and the overall stay was really enjoyable. 😊

By and large, it was ideal base for sightseeing in Donegal Town, had much fun and met attentive and accommodating staff who accommodated my request. I booked twin room on the tablet in the bedroom and could use wake-up service, available in it.

It was surely an enjoyable stay on holidays. The room was neat with a view. We were pleased to have an electric kettle, central heating and iron/ironing board.

The location was great, just next door to pubs, the harbor, and many restaurants. A cool bonus was nearby Linda's Diner, which offered tea and coffee. - the room was absolutely spotless and fairly quiet. - It had particularly good views and featured central heating, a flat-screen TV, and coffee/tea making equipment.

The location of this place is fantastic, being close to the pubs and Rossnowlagh beach made my stay enjoyable.

i thought general layout of the room was fine and beds bedding and ensuite was spot on however we rquested a smoking room and the decor of the room let it down There were bleach stains on the carpet at the side of the bed the paint was peeling on the ceiling in the bathroom the fabric on the skirting on the bath was coming off and parts of it were quite dusty I know it was a smoking room not sure if this made a difference but in general we enjoyed our stay
